These silos are used for dry powder storage and discharge pneumatically on offshore platforms or supply vessels.
Product Information and certification
The Vertical Pressure Silos are certified to BS7072 ( lift empty only ) and maintained in accordance with approved scheme of work to SI128 and pressure systems safety regulations 2000.
ATI has a fleet of these units ranging from 14 m3, 24 m3 and 29 m3.
Typical Applications
These silos are very scarce these days with many having been scrapped in the 1990’s, however ATI have found that there is more than sufficient demand in the offshore sector for the storage and pneumatic discharge of offshore cements, barites and other dry powder products.
We use a considerable amount of available resources to maintain these pressure units in tip top condition, each unit has recently undergone full refurbishment involving thickness testing, new hand hatches, seals and valves then all fully painted in our workshops.
