Product Information and certification

The vertical gravity fed silo comes in two sizes, 31 m³ or 45 m³ are economical in their use of ground space and are not inhibited by height restrictions. Proven in many industry sectors are sturdy and reliable. All silos are supplied with a 7.5 kW x 4 m screw feed conveyor (extension are available if required) and can also be supplied with a 1/2 tonne or 1 tonne weigh batcher with display programmer and electrical connections.

ATI is able to offer assistance with the setting up of units and dismantling of same on completion of contract. We are very pleased to offer this service at a cost (depending on final destination) per site visit. Our service does not extend to (and the client is responsible for) all electrical and/or pneumatic supply, service, installation, connection etc. All/any labour and cranage required on site for offloading/loading and erection/dismantling of the silo and its associated equipment will be the responsibility of the client.

The units must be positioned on a sound base. We can advise an absolute minimum specification for a concrete base, dependant on ground conditions, based on previous clients experience, of 4m x 4m x 300 mm deep, singularly or doubly reinforced, ensuring there is a minimum of 150 mm from top of base to reinforcing mesh to prevent intereference when installing the rawlbolts. (Recommended rawlbolt size M16 x 35P)

Typical Applications

ATI silos and ancillary equipment are designed for cement (OPC) storage and distribution, however they are equally suited to most dry powders and granular products (not foodstuffs), sometimes extra aeration is required to fluidise the product, sometimes air driven vibrators are needed to aid discharge and eliminate bridging of the product, ATI silos always have extra aeration pads and brackets for a vibrator system, a vibrator would be added if the product characteristics required it.
